The self-efficacy for therapeutic use of self-questionnaire (SETUS): psychometric properties of the English version

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate psychometric properties the Self-Efficacy for Therapeutic Use Self (SETUS) scales, a questionnaire based on Intentional Relationship model, and factor structure internal consistency English version three-part SETUS in occupational therapy students. Design/methodology/approach sample cross-sectional study included 155 students with age range 18–30 years, which 95% were women. Principal Components Analysis (PCA) was performed including Mode (SETMU), Recognizing Interpersonal Characteristics (SERIC) Managing Events (SEMIE). consistencies calculated. Pearson correlation analysis used evaluate strength among scales. Findings PCA confirmed that items each three proposed scales loaded strongly one (self-efficacy factors therapeutic mode use, recognizing interpersonal characteristics managing events).
